Card: Ornate Garden Fancy Fold

We had our virtual Team Meeting yesterday and this card (or close to it) was presented.

I started creating it the second the meeting ended, LOL

Of course, it’s a CASE (originally created by Ruth Norton) but I put my own spin on it. I added the detailed frame around the greeting and the strip of Terracotta Tile Card Stock. I always have to put a bit of “Me” into my cards 😉

Project Supply List:

Facebook Live Replay: Rise & Shine With Timeless Tulips Card

Hello and Happy Saturday!

How are you doing with your Social Distancing? I’m practicing “shelter in place” and going out as little as possible. Best way to prevent coming in contact with the disease is to stay home!

I created these cards during a Facebook Live card class I hosted last night. I think they are perfect for brightening someone’s day. Either as a Thank You card or a Thinking Of You/Birthday/Mother’s Day/Easter card… so many ways a cup of tulips can be shared! You can watch the card class on YouTube Here or on my Facebook Page here. Be sure to follow me so you can see all of my projects. I have a printable supply list to enable you to create this card yourself:

Project Supply List:

A Nice Cuppa Tea Together Cards

Remember the stamp set “A Nice Cuppa” and it’s coordinating Cups & Kettle Framelits? I took them out yesterday and gave them a modern twist with Purple Posy and the Best Dressed DSP. I told you, these subtle pastel colors are growing on me! I’m going “soft”, LOL.

I then CASE’d myself and created the “Modern” version using the Tea Together stamp set and coordinating Tea Time Dies from the Annual Catalog. Same layout, colors, DSP… just updated. If I were to make these cards again, I would stamp the Tea Together images in Mint Macaron instead of the black. I would also sponge around the edges of the die-cut Cups & Kettles in the first card, with Mint Macaron or Purple Posy, to make them “pop” a little more.

What do you think of these cards?

To create my cards yourself, I have a list of the current products posted for you below. You will receive a Free 4-Card PDF Tutorial, and Personal Thank You Card by mail (offering a 5th Card to re-create at home), with qualifying orders of $50 or more – Plus earn a Free Sale-a-bration exclusive(s) with your order.

I hope you have enjoyed these cards.

Today’s Project Supply List:

Let It Snow With Hats and Mittens

Let It Snow Specialty Designer Series Paper (150393)

Confession: I ordered this designer series paper just because I thought it would pair perfectly with my retired mitten builder and hat builder punches.

Do you have these in your punch collection?

I also had to pull out some retired stamps from my shelves because I wanted to say “Warmest Winter Wishes” but, I don’t own the Free Skate Bundle (153032) from the Holiday Catalog . I am going to have to order this bundle – if not for the great sentiments alone!

If you order this paper from me, I’ll be happy to punch some hats and mittens for you. After you order the paper, just send me a message saying you’d love some and I’ll punch you out a bunch! You can assemble them and emboss them as you wish. They are so cute!

To create this card, I’ve got all of your supplies listed below.

Gold Thank You Card With The Christmas Rose Stamp Set

I can’t believe I was going to “take a pass” on this bundle!

It will last far beyond Christmas and I think everyone should own it! Imagine the possibilities!

This card is super simple to create yet has a definite WOW factor!

My rose was stamped in Versamark and then heat embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. I stamped my greeting (from a retired set but a multitude of greetings would work here) in Versamark and heat embossed that in gold as well. Gold Foil, a few Gold Glitter Enamel Dots, and the luscious Gold Shimmer Ribbon keep the card simple yet elegant.

I repeated the stamping/gold embossing on a Whisper White insert and on the envelope as well. Using the Stamparatus and a template meant I had perfect placement on all 3 elements: the card front, insert, and envelope.

To create this card, I’ve got all of your supplies listed below.

Today’s project supply list:

Nature’s Beauty Friendship Card

My friend Teresa recently sent me this card and I love it! I have the Nature’s Beauty stamp set but, as I’ve said, coloring animals intimidates me, LOL. The Nature’s Beauty set can be found on the back cover of the Holiday Catalog. $3 of every sale is donated to Mental Health Organizations in our areas. This is near and dear to my heart so I hope you will consider purchasing this stamp set.

Purchase the Nature’s Beauty stamp set from me and I will send you a 4-Card PDF Tutorial so you can start creating right away with your new set! Shop the links below for the supplies to recreate this particular card as well.

Today’s project supply list:

Cards: Rooted In Nature Thinking Of You

Rooted In Nature Thinking Of You: Masculine or Gender Neutral? You decide.

Today’s cards were inspired by a card I found while suffering insomnia, LOL. I would love to give credit where credit were due… if only I could remember where I found it… sigh. Anyway, I used a piece of retired 6″x6″ dsp (from the Wood Textures pack) – thus the three cards as the strips are 2″ wide so I could cut 3 cards worth from one piece.

My suggestion for swapping in current papers would be to use the woodgrain piece from Pressed Petals or use a piece of Crumb Cake, Pretty Peacock, or even Early Espresso Card Stock and emboss with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder. Maybe even use the Crumb Cake and apply some ink directly onto the embossing folder before embossing – give it more oomph 😉

To CASE my card, I’ve provide my supply list, with links to purchase any supplies you need, below. Use October’s Hostess Code2JYCMPFT to receive this month’s Free assortment of Make & Take projects.
